ABOUT
THE AUTHOR

| Jim was
born, raised and educated in Vancouver, Canada. After senior matriculation
graduation from high school in 1942, he joined the Royal Canadian
Air Force in World War II, and became a four-engine Lancaster bomber
pilot. While on leave in London, England in 1944 - after completing
a couple of bomber missions - he and Alma met. It was love at first
sight. Alma was also in the RCAF, working there in the air force records
office. They married in London in February 1945. He finished his tour of operations with the rank of Flight Lieutenant just as the war in Europe ended (May 1945). He then volunteered to fly Lincoln bombers to help finish off the war against the Japanese, but the dropping of the atom bombs brought a quick end to the Pacific operations. After 38 years as a public accountant, auditor and management consultant (CGA), and having other business interests, Jim retired in 1993. Although he always had an interest in spiritual matters, it was not until Alma passed away in 1992 that his spirit communications really came alive. |
